NASCAR Social Media Plan

 

 


In Fall 2020, I conducted an evaluation of NASCAR's current social media outputs along with a survey to understand people's relationship to NASCAR, NASCAR's social media, and expectations for the sport. I had 430 complete responses from people of different genders, education levels, ethnicities, and nationalities who had varying viewing habits (from always to never, all different series).

The evaluation led me to create a social media plan with the goal of engaging more minority (young, non-white, non-male) audiences with NASCAR content across all platforms. In particular, the intent was to engage more female and young audiences with NASCAR content.
